Meatless day of the week recipe : Kale!

Hey everyone

I know I am on a roll with the recipes. This one is simple, I will again quickly go through the ingredients and how long to cook. Have fun tweaking it or even not cooking it at all and having it as a salad. Whole FoodsFoods kale on sale for 2 for $3 I was all over it.







Cooked Kale
yields 4 servings per bushel ( from whole foods)


  • Kale
  • White onion 
  • salt
  • pepper
  • garlic clove
  1. Boil until translucent which is about 10 minutes.
  2. Then turn it down to simmer for 45 minutes.
  3. Cover and let it sit for 10 extra minutes after the 45..
