Pickling Peppers


Ingredients

  • Peppers
  • Soy Sauce
  • Vinegar ( I used rice wine)
  • Water
  • Sugar ( optional) 
Peppers, Can


Measurements

  • Cup of water
  • Cup of vinegar
  • 1/4 soy sauce
  • A teaspoon of sugar( to taste)
  • 10 jalapeno peppers
10 peppers

Directions 

  1. Add all ingredients and boil
  2. Cut up peppers
  3. Place in jar
  4. Pour the mix on to peppers
  5. Let it cool then place in the Refrigerator .  
With liquid added

Final thoughts:


I borrowed a combination of the Asian pickling method and the everyday pickling methods. Instead of salt, I sued soy and so on. It's based on your taste. These last a few weeks so enjoy sandwiches and also rice. Its great with rice since its sweet.
